rhoSimpleFoam: Does it work with SRF problems?

Hello all,
I hope you're having a nice time. I was asking about SRF compressible solver. So I know rhoSimpleFoam is a compressible solver, but does it work with SRF? I have a question too about how to know whether the solver works with SRF or MRF? Thank you!

Hi Zeinab,

You can use MRF with rhoSimpleFoam. Have a look at the mixerVessel2D tutorial for example (tutorials/compressible/rhoPimpleFoam/RAS/mixerVessel2D). It uses rhoPimpleFoam but it should not make a difference for the MRF setup.

About SRF however, AFAIK the only existing solvers are SRFSimpleFoam and SRFPimpleFoam, I don't think there is compressible solvers using SRF, at least in the two main OpenFOAM branches (openfoam.com and openfoam.org)
