What equations exactly solves reactingParcelFoam if I simulate compressible fluid with solid particles with temperature? No radiation, no chemical reactions, no combustion. Where I could find them?

I understand that it is compressible RANS equations with temperature field but I would like to see where they come from, papers or some other sources.

I found this thread, but still not everything is clear.

Favre or Reynolds Average in OpenFOAM?

I think you might need to dig in the source code, I'm afraid.

These files could be a start:

KinematicParcel.H/C (link)
KinematicCloud.H/C
ThermalParcel.H/C
ThermalCloud.H/C

These are the files that reactingParcelFoam uses to compute the Lagrangian fields if no reaction is considered. Trace calc* functions thereat.

Hope helps.

from the solver equation files, I extrapolated these functions.
I hope it helps.
Also the following paper "Modifying coalChemistryFoam for dense gas-solid simulation" by "Jingyuan Zhang" presents the coalChemistryFoam solver equations and it is pretty close to reactingParcelFoam.
