Hello!
i am trying to simluate a simple air flow over a hot plate. I am having trouble with the thermophysical properties for the solid plate. You can see my settings and the error message in the attached file. Apparently I can't choose enthalpy at all, only internal energy. The strange thing is that someone from my university tried the exact same simulation and it worked fine but it gives me the error when i try it. I am using OF 8, I dont't know what the person from my university is using. Does anyone have a clue why this happens? Is it a problem with version8? |

Hello Claudia,
I'm not using OpenFOAM-8 but your issue seems related to this commit: https://github.com/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM...d30ec6916e73a1 This commit is cited on the Heat Transfer section of the OpenFOAM-8 release notes : https://openfoam.org/release/8/ I hope this helps, Yann |
