Default zoneID folder in overInterDyMFoam solver

Hi, Could somebody help me explaining to me what is the folder called "zone ID", which appears in overInterDyMFoam solver.

Hi Hector,

zoneID is a variable used in the overset solvers to identify to which zone (or region if you prefer) a cell belongs.

If you look at the twoSimpleRotors tutorials, you will see you have 3 different regions/meshes : background and 2 meshes for the 2 rotors. Hence you'll get zoneID=0 for all cells in the background, zoneID=1 for all cells belonging to one rotor and zoneID=2 for the cells belonging to the second rotor.
zoneID values are defined using setFields.
