Hello everyone.

I am running a simulation using by overPimpleDyMFoam in openfoam v1806+.
I want to deform my model.

I can see the

"
solver displacementLaplacian;

displacementLaplacianCoeffs
{
diffusivity uniform 1;
}

"

in the constant/dynamicMeshDict.

I think it define the deforming mesh.


But when I using it, some errors are occured.

The errors are

in file /home/user/OpenFOAMv/OpenFOAM-v1806/src/finiteVolume/lnInclude/fvPatchFieldNew.C at line 153.

FOAM exiting






Is there anyone who can deal with it?
May I have your advice?

You are using the wrong boundary condition for the patch type. Try something different than zeroGradient.

I changed the boundary condition of overset and other patch, and it worked!
