Hello,
I am running a transient simulation using pimpleFoam. I would like to time-average the data after the simulation reaches the statistically-steady state. Can anybody tell me how the time-averaging is done in OpenFOAM? Cheers! |

Use fieldAverage
Here's an example After you are ready to collect statistics, put it in your controlDict and then run again. New variables are created and saved in the time dirs like Umean, Pmean and so on. Setting prime2mean to on collects rmse statistics. |
