This parameter only scales the magnitudes of your geometry introduced in the blockMeshDict-file.

Hello alberto,
as guin said, the factor only applies to your mesh. As the diffusivity doesn't depend on your mesh/domain size (e.g. the diffusivity of oxygen(g) - water(l) will be the same on all scales) you don't need to scale it as long as you don't scale other parameters, e.g. the viscosity. |
