Hello experts,
I have a question. How dow OF split the flow between multiple outlets? Is it based on the area? I have a geometry with multiple outlets, and my data do not match with another CFD solver (It is very much trusted). I know that the other solver splits the flow between outlets based on their areas and corrects the outlet velocity for each outlet to satisfy continuity. I suspect that the difference might be because of the way OF treats multiple outlets? Thank you very much! |

OF does not "know" outlets. It only "knows" boundary conditions. Which amount of flow goes to and through an outlet depends on the b.c. itself and the whole flow field.
