Hello all,
Actually, this thread is not asking a question, instead it aims to help people who may meet the same problem. Since, I spend almost whole afternoon to solve it. The version of my OpenFOAM is 4.1. If you want to add new turbulent models in the version later than 3.0, please follow steps given in the link below: http://hassankassem.me/posts/newturbulencemodel/ If not, you still can look at the above link, because it provides you with the correct steps of early versions. As an alternative, you can see the following link as well: http://www.tfd.chalmers.se/~hani/kur...lenceModel.pdf Now, I have successfully added a new turbulent to my OpenFOAM. The reason why it consumes me so much time? Because so many threads and links are corresponding to the solutions of early versions. However, the same steps cannot work out for versions later than 3.0. Good luck, and I hope no one will like me again. Best Regards, Peter |
