Dear Foamers,
I just tried to run a couple of simulations in OpenFOAM 4.0 and saw that there is a change (last version I used is 2.4) regarding the sample utility. I understand that I can still read the system/sampleDict file with the command "postProcess -func sampleDict" when adding the lines "type sets;" and "libs ("libsampling.so");" to the sampleDict. However, with this procedure I am not able to use the keyword "surfaces" to get for example the pressure at my structure. I need to create a new sampleDict file using "type surfaces" instead of "type sets" and then run the command again. Anyone know a solution for this where I only have to run the utility once? |
