Hi foamers,
I'm simulating (using reacting foam) a leak of CH4 in something looks like a pipe. I would like to know at each time (I'm doing a steady-state simulation) the quantity of CH4 in my pipe. Is it possible to do that ? FIRST: Is it possible to know the quantity (mass) of an element during a simulation ? SECOND: If yes, is it possible to plot it during simulation (like we can plot residuals) ? Thank you, Adrien |

All I want to do is to plot the mass balance for CH4 (which one element among others in my flow) in fact...

Seems you want need fieldAverage function object:
http://cfd.direct/openfoam/user-guide/function-objects/ check the tutorials to find similar cases. |
