Hi,

I run interDyMFoam in parallel and the speed of the simulation is too low. I have got the following commands in Terminal:

Selected 0 split points out of a possible 0.
MULES: Solving for alpha.water
MULES: Solving for alpha.water

Phase-1 volume fraction = 2.111971e-05 Min(alpha1) = -9.115508e-11 Max(alpha1) = 0.9973917

I am a bit suspicious about the sentence :"Selected 0 split points out of a possible 0."

Is there any comment for it?

I am solving a static bubble problem as the interface is stationary I am getting the following oscillation of grid refinement in my problem.


Courant Number mean: 0.000412997 max: 0.00743201
Interface Courant Number mean: 0.00014211 max: 0.00743201
deltaT = 0.0075
Selected 8 cells for refinement out of 1640.
Refined from 1640 to 1696 cells.
Selected 0 split points out of a possible 96.

Execution time for Level Set Mesh Update = 0.01 s
Defining the group of the cells
Time = 0.9

PIMPLE: iteration 1
MULES: Solving for alpha.water
Phase-1 volume fraction = 0.121094 Min(alpha.water) = 6.04327e-97 Max(alpha.water) = 1
solve the reinitialization equation
Interpolation of psi from coarser to finer mesh
Solve the modified reinitialization equation in finer mesh
Interpolation from finer to coarser mesh

DICPCG: Solving for p_rgh, Initial residual = 0.0625893, Final residual = 9.72881e-09, No Iterations 43
