Hi,
I have simulated a droplet falling in air by InterFoam. Now I am going to refine the mesh in a way that the refine mesh moves with the droplet. I think I have to use dynamicmeshDict. Can I use it in the constant folder of my previouse simulation and use InterFoam or I have to use InterDyMFoam and set everything from the first? Thanks. |

As far as I know you have to use interDyMFoam. Otherwise the dynamicMeshDict file is ignored. I do not know how your particular mesh movement works, but usually its a good start when you copy your static case (sliding meshes are a bit different though). Go from there and have a look what files OF asks for when you start moveDynamicMesh / interDyMFoam.
