Hello,
I am working on a solver similar to chtMultiRegionFoam. However, my case deals with the heat transfer from one fluid to another (non-newtonian) fluid. The newtonian and non-newtonian regions are separated by a stationary membrane. Because none of the regions is solid, I also need to couple the velocities at both sides of the interface between both regions.

To start with, the chtMultiRegionFoam uses the compressible::turbulentTemperatureCoupledBaffleMix ed BC to map the temperature T from one region (solid) to another region (fluid).

I need a similar BC to map as well the velocity U from one fluid region to another fluid region, such that rho1*U1=rho2*U2. Does such a BC exist? If not, which existing BC should I study and extend to develop the required BC?

Thanks
Nils

Hello Nils,

I am currently working on a very similar problem and was curious to know if you ever figured out how to solve a mass conserving boundary condition between two fluid regions.

Cheers

Hiya Nils and Max,

I am working on a similar case too and I was just wondering, have you figure out the problem????
