Hello fellow FOAMERS! I am relatively new to OpenFOAM and I am attempting to simulate an ejector augmented pulsed detonation rocket with detailed chemistry. As the title to my post suggests, I am trying to set up a non-equilibrium reversible thirdbody Arrhenius reaction but I am having difficulty finding the proper syntax. I have the parameters for the forward reaction rates, however, from the source code it seems I must also declare a reverse reaction rate including the Arrhenius parameters (A, beta, Ta). I would like to know if there is a way to have the reverse reaction rate calculated as a function of the forward reaction rate and equilibrium constant. The reaction is H2/Air detonation. If anyone knows where I can get the actual parameters for the reverse reaction (A, beta, Ta), I would gladly input that information but I haven't been able to locate that data either. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to see any of my other files. Attached should be my reactions, chemicalProperties, combustionProperties, and thermophysicalProperties files. Also feel free to inform me if there is a better way of communicating my question or I didn't follow best practice in posting this question! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry to refresh thread. Anyone have experience with this reaction type? Thank you in advance for any help!

Hi Josh

Were you able to understand how the reaction rate is for reverse reaction is done in openFoam. If you have any leads kindly post.

Thanks and regards
