Hi everybody,
I want to use buoyantPimpleFoam solver in OF 2.22 for buoyancy driven flow of a fluid with temperature-dependent thermal/transport properties. I have two questions now: - for the equation of state, is it okay to use icoPolynomial? I believe, since the solver is pressure-based and my variations of density with pressure are negligible for my case, it should work. Any objection? - my property functions (almost all of them) are kind of complex, so that a single polynomial (even of order 8-9) does not really yield satisfactory approximations. I want to use piecewise polynomial (or possibly another function) instead. Any suggestion of where to start? Thank you very much in advance. P |

Hi,
I have noticed that this is an old thread. But I have the same issue: how can I define a piecewise function for propeties as a function of temperature in OpenFOAM? Hope I can find my answer. Thanks. |
