Hi,
Can someone briefly describe how the 'directMapped LES inlet boundary condition' works ? There is one implementation example on the pitzDaily in the Openfoam tutorials but it doesnot answers my question. What is for instance this offset value? How do you choose it ? Thanks a lot in advance. Gregory |

Dear Gregory,
Why don't you start by using the "Search" function of this forum, and then come back with the question you might have on directMapped? There are enough threads describing what the offset is, how it works, and what the different options are. I would nonetheless suggest you start by reading this thread. Kind regards, Francois. |
