Hi Foamers,

I was trying to use the foamCalc utility in my 2D forced convection transfert with chtMultiRegionSimpleFoam.

Unfortunately, from what I read in the other parts of the forum, there's no way to do it with several regions.

Has someone already implemented a code, giving access to this utility (AND, let's be fool: to all the other "usual" ones )?

If no such thing exist yet:
Wanna give a hand to create it?

Regards fellas

Hi sixwp,

probably not relevant for you anymore, but I stumbled over the same thing today. Just in case that another one finds this thread beeing number one when googling "foamcalc region": Here is a quick'n dirty hack for a modified version of foamCalc that recognizes the -region option, enabling calculations involving fields that are not coupled. I tried it with foam-extend-3.0.

Best,
Paul
