Hi All, what a nice day for coding
Is it possible to define a moving patch by the interface between the two phases in interFoam, so a boundary condition can be applied?

Best regards
Simon

Hi,

I have the same question, could you find a solution?

I want to set a boundary condition at the phase interface (e.g. at interface P=f(..))

Hi,

I want to apply a boundary condition at the interface between a gas bubble and surrounding fluid. For example, i want to say that the temperature at the interface is a specific value.

The bubble may grow so the interface is not at a fixed position

Hi

In VOF method you don't have any explicit surface tracking. So, the position of interface is not explicitly available and defining patch or boundary condition at the interface is not possible. In my idea you can set fixed temperature in areas where 0<alpha<1.

Cheers,
