Hi,

I want to implement temperature dependent thermal conductivity { k(T) } different for each layer.

solver:: chtMultiRegionFoam

problem:: implement temperature dependent thermal conductivity { k(T) } distinctly for each layer.

k1= 26 + T / 2.01

k2=1.08 * T+ 2.14

should i change the solver? if so how ?

any idea?

Thanks in advance

Bloerb will become famous soon enough
You can make your conductivity depend on temperature within the domain. You can check the user guide for that.

http://cfd.direct/openfoam/user-guide/thermophysical/

Or du you want to implement this into the coupledBaffledMixed boundary condition for the layers functionality it provides?

Hi Bloerb,
thanks for your reply

Your guide is right BUT i have different problem,
i have various and different Temperature dependent conductivity!!

i have conductivity formulas for each layer and are different from each other!!

i dont have same conductivity formula for all of layers as mentioned in your guide reference.

regards,
Mohammad Jam
