Hello foamers.
I'm using a multiphase solver (interCondensatingEvaporatingFoam). In the transport properties, both gas and liquid have "hf" to be defined. I searched in the documentation, but only found "Hf" which corresponds to the heat of fusion. I was pretty sure "hf" wasn't "Hf". I tried changing hf in Hf and the simulation crashed, so I'm now sure that it's not the heat of fusion. I thought it might be the specific enthalpy, but couldn't find anything sure about it. Anyone have the answer? |

Hello, I don't know if you have already solved this problem.
But since that there is no solution posted, I decide to reply. The hf means latent heat with unit[J/kg] in interCondensatingEvaporatingFoam cases. If you want to set latent heat of evaporation to 2256kJ/kg, you can just leave the hf of liquid as 0, and set the value of hf of vapour as 2256e3. Another forum page related to this issue: Mass transfer model in interCondensatingEvaporatingFoam Hope this can help you or others who has the same question. |
