Hi,
I have a wing which will performed prescribed morphing at different instants in time. I have the STL of the wing at t = 0, t = 0.5, t = 1.0. The deformation is relatively large, around 1 chord length in some regions. So is it possible to perform this sort of simulation in OF? If so, what is the best way to do it? There was an old thread which discusses something similar: Morph mesh given displacement of boundary points I also saw a new feature in OF 1806: https://www.openfoam.com/releases/op...nd-physics.php which has a twistingcolumn. I wonder if it's applicable too. Thanks! |

Hi. I am trying to conduct a similar simulation. Dd you find a method to do morphing in openfoam? If yes, please let me know.
Thanks, |

Hi toolpost,
You can look over here: Possible to have both solidBodyMotionFunction rotatingMotion + displacementLaplacian? |
