The foamLog script will generate xy-files based on the log file generated by the run.

There is an old thread which could be helpful (this is the way I monitor residuals):

Hello.
I have the same question, however, when I run FoamLog, the outputs files I get are only for the first time-step of my solution, so they only have 1 x-y entry in each of them. I checked the log file and it has many more timesteps..? Kind Regards, Francesco |

What do you mean exactly with "at a special time step".
Using the foamLog utility you can plot them in function of the simulated time but I don't know if this is what you want to do... |

For example, how can I plot the residuals at t = 5s or so,e other time step?
