Hello everyone,
i'm simulating a flow over a Naca-6 series airfoil and i need to plot the skin friction coefficient (Cf) at a certain timestep over the suction side of my airfoil, once having the datas for the wallShearStress obtained through the nameofthesolver -postProcess -func tool, but i'm having troubles with that. Is there a way to do it with Paraview or a script that takes into account the change of normals along the ss of the airfoil? Any help would be kindly accepted. Thank you in advance. Mario |

Hi Mario,
You can use the Generate Surface Normals filter to get the normals of the surface and than use a calculator to get the dot product (v1.v2 button) of the Normal vector and the wallShearStress vector. Hope this helps, Tom |
