Dear OpenFOAM-users,
Does anyway know how I can lay a cutting plane through a certain patch only (instead of through all patches of the whole computational domain) using the postProcess functionality surfaces? Is it e.g. possible to use the output of a patchSurface, generated by the postProcess utility surfaces, as an input to the cuttingPlane utility in surfaces (via the fields option at the top of the surface function file)? I have a 3D wing and I want to automatically generate an output file with e.g. the pressure at several span wise stations. Does anyone here have an idea how to do that in an elegant way (via the postProcess utilities for example) without the use of ParaView? Many thanks for your replies! Best wishes, Anouk |
