Hi everyone,

I need your help and your experience in foamLog please. I would like to extract some data such time and centre of mass from LOG.txt file to plot the xy displacement. Could you please provide me whole details how could I do that. This is the first time I used foamLog.

Many thanks in advanced.

So you want a detailed explanation, when you don't even take the time to detail what you have and what you're seeing?

Allow me to refresh your memory, as explained on this thread: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...-get-help.html

edit: If I remember correctly, an old tutorial gives an example on how to do this, namely "mesh/moveDynamicMesh/simpleHarmonicMotion": https://github.com/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM...HarmonicMotion

Best regards,
