Hi everybody,
I am simulating the motion of a planing boat using LTSInterFoam. In the case of visualizing, I don't know how to visualize the craft's body. I have made the free-surface visible, but I want to make the body visible too, to see just the free surface and the craft's body. The volume Fields that are available in the current solution in Paraview are: alpha1, k, nut,omega,p,p_rgh,rDeltaT and U. I have attached a screeshot below. boat.jpg notice: the mesh is a half body. could anybody give me a hint? regards, Ali |

Hi Ali,
In paraView you can make the boundary patch, say boat, active. So you show the free surface as you already are doing, and then you use the filter called "Extract Block" and select the patch "boat". This will give you the body of the ship. Kind regards, Niels |
