Dear foamer

OpenFOAM3.0.1 is released sometimes ago, meanwhile i see some newbies struggle in installation of OpenFOAM, therefore i customized Ubuntu14.04LTS to include OpenFOAM in it.

to configure openfoam after linux installation

Open the .bashrc file in the user’s home directory in an editor, e.g. by typing in a terminal window (note the dot)

1. gedit ~/.bashrc
   
   
2. At the bottom of that file, add the following line and save the file source /opt/openfoam30/etc/bashrc

If you edit /etc/skel/.bashrc newly created profiles should automatically contain the new line, so that no further configuration is necessary.

Apart from that I'd personally assume an Ubuntu Iso is a bit overkill, a .deb Package would have been sufficient, but then again I always compile it myself, so what would I know..
