OpenFOAM3.0.1 is released sometimes ago, meanwhile i see some newbies struggle in installation of OpenFOAM, therefore i customized Ubuntu14.04LTS to include OpenFOAM in it. you can download the the modified Ubuntu iso file from here. to configure openfoam after linux installation Quote:

If you edit /etc/skel/.bashrc newly created profiles should automatically contain the new line, so that no further configuration is necessary.
Apart from that I'd personally assume an Ubuntu Iso is a bit overkill, a .deb Package would have been sufficient, but then again I always compile it myself, so what would I know..
