Creative Fields, Ltd. is on a distinguished road
Dear colleagues, dear OpenFOAM users,

We are happy to announce that after months of development we are able to present to the OpenFOAM community a new integrated, GUI driven, and cross-platform solution for CFD based on OpenFOAM – cfSuite 1.0. It is a hosting environment for cfMesh 1.0 (an extensible library for automatic mesh generation; freely available and licensed under GPL) and OpenFOAM® libraries, designed for quick implementation of customised GUI-driven workflows running OpenFOAM® solvers. Both products, cfMesh and cfSuite, are available as 64-bit versions for both Linux and Windows and can be downloaded from our website: www.c-fields.com

In this first release of our GUI framework we have mainly focused on the pre-processing tasks related to meshing, such as preparation of boundary conditions on the input geometry, creation of subsets on both surface and volume meshes, and harnessing cfMesh into an easy-to-use environment. Currently, we support two OpenFOAM solvers, namely icoFoam and simpleFoam, but the list of available solvers will grow in the product versions to come. Also, in our development pipeline for future releases we are currently focusing on additional new features, such as support for multi-material meshes; mesh decomposition support and handling of MPI-decomposed meshes; polyhedral and hexahedral only meshing workflows; full "serverisation" mode and running simulations in the cloud; database of fluid properties; etc. In each case, we will also carefully listen to your suggestions for further product improvement and implementation in the upcoming releases.

We hope you will find our software useful and looking forward to your feedback.

Sincerely yours,
Core Team, Creative Fields, Ltd.
