Dynaflow Research Group offers this 2 day training into OpenFOAM® using the intuitive graphical user interface HELYX-OS to substantially reduce your CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) modeling times.
The course is intended for engineers who are new to CFD and OpenFOAM® and would like to discover whether their company can benefit from using CFD and OpenFOAM®/HELYX-OS in particular. The basic concepts of using CFD are illustrated using the professional CFD suite HELYX on a wide variety of industrial examples. The training is located close to Rotterdam in the Netherlands and shall take place on 6th and 7th of February 2014. The training will be held from 9:00 to 18:00 on both days and will consist of a good mix of short presentations by the trainer and hands-on cases and examples. The participants will use HELYX-OS to apply CFD (modelling, solving and analysis) on relevant industrial problems, i.e. (in)compressible flows, heat transfer and multiphase flows. The course language will be English. The training includes (but is not limited) to the following topics: • Introduction to CFD and HELYX-OS • OpenFOAM® file structure and case setup • Mesh generation and conversion • Porous media flows and thermal analysis (filters, buoyant flows, HVAC) • Multiphase flows (mixing, separation) • Analysis and visualization of results using HELYX-OS and Paraview For more information about the training contents, please download our brochure. You can visit the website DRG Training for details about the contents, costs and registration or call us at +31 79 361 5150. When you are interested in our other services or would like to unsubscribe please send an email to info@dynaflow.com. This course is not approved or endorsed by OpenCFD Limited, the developer of the OpenFOAM® software and owner of the OpenFOAM® and OpenCFD® trademarks.
