Hi,

I am refreshing the Google Hangout idea that was tossed around at the end of last year, but not taken much further than one or two sessions. It will be done as a Hangout on Air (in place of the Hangout), which allows 10 active participants and an unlimited number of viewers.

The openFoam Hangout on Air is to potentially become a monthly online video chat focused on advancing openFoam reach and offer community networking.

09:55-10:00 - Hangout live and running;
10:00-10:05 - Quick presentation round table;
10:05-10:30 - Presentation;
10:30-10:40 - Question & discussion on presentation;
10:40-10:50 - Open discussion;
10:50-11:00 - Closing.

Presentation: The presentation will be on the use of SketchUp as a geometry creation tool for use in openFoam, with a particular focus on the good and bad aspects. The presentation will be run by Dr Julien de Charentenay from Hibou Scientific Software Pty Ltd. The presentation will not be a marketing of Khamsin, a SketchUp Plugin for CFD Modelling.

The presentation slides will be made available online.
