Dear Foamers in the Mid-Atlantic USA,
It's time for the next MAOFUGM! After successful meetings at Penn State, U. Michigan, Ohio State, and Pittsburgh, we will be hosting the 5th Users Group Meeting at Virginia Tech on April 27th 2013 in Blacksburg, Virginia. There is NO FEE for participation. Depending upon availability of external support, we may ask for a small donation to cover the cost of breakfast and lunch. As usual, we plan on having a combination of technical presentations, birds-of-a-feather discussion groups, demonstrations, and grass-roots training. If you would like to contribute or lead any of these sessions, please let me know. In order to get a head count on attendees, please register by April 13th using the simple Google-form at the link below: http://goo.gl/xeRNt If you have any comments or suggestions, please post a comment to this thread! Detailed information will be posted here as plans evolve. Best regards, Eric Paterson |

A website has been created for the UGM. It will be populated with more information once the registration and program has been finalized.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the UGM! I think the meeting was successful and I hope that the everyone found it worth their time and travel!
If you would like to host the future meeting (Fall 2013?), let me know and I'll forward an email distribution list. Also, I would like to thank Eric O'Connell from CEI for sponsoring the lunch. To thank them, maybe you should try visualizing your OpenFOAM data with Ensight Free. |
