Dear OpenFOAMers:
I starting testing a mesh generator called True Grid (www.truegrid.com). It can generate all hex elements based on block-structured. I am curious whether any of you are also using it. If there is a lot of interests from the OpenFOAM group, then, True Grid company may be willing to support OpenFOAM native export. True Grid usually gives a one-month trial. I will report back to this group what my trial concludes. Pei |

TrueGrid is very cool. Feals like block mesh on steroids with a GUI.
I was able to create a script that creates a nice, C-Type mesh for airfoils using parametrically defined surfaces. I'm going to try to do a fluent mesh export, then convert to foam. |
