Hello everyone, does someone know how to avoid a layer discontinuity as illustrated in the picture bellow ? Which parameter should I use in snappyHexMesh to fix this issue ?
Thank you for you answers ! |

Layer generation is the weak spot of snappyHexMesh. There have been many of discussions here on the forum you can look through to find hints.
I can recommend looking at the alternative mesh shrinker: High skewness You will find many more topics discussing layer generation, have a look there too. |

Thank you for your answer, I solve my problem by using cfMesh instead of snappyHexMesh. The layer generation is way better and simple with cfMesh. You can see the results in the pictures attached.
For those who would like documentation about cfMesh here is the user guide : https://cfmesh.com/wp-content/upload...fMesh_v1.1.pdf |
