Dear All,
I heard that this is possible, but I can't find the information: I need to change the velocity field calculated in OpenFoam for a new mesh and the same geometry. I calculated the velocity field using the SIMPLE solver and now I want to calculate heat transfer. However, the mesh that I made to calculate the momentum is too dense. I don’t need such precision for heat transfer and I would like to change the mesh to a wider one, but retain the result of the field calculated earlier. Please tell me how can I do this? thanks in advance for your answer |

Hello,
You can use the mapFields utility to map fields on different meshes. Regards, Yann |
