Good day,

I am having a problem with creating a mesh.

I am using snappyHexMesh. I had maxGlobalCells set to 2 millions, but then I had this message:

No cells marked for refinement since reached limit 2000000

snappyHexMesh runs until the end, but I get a mesh without the level of refinement I have set.
So I increased the maxGlobalCells, but then when I do that, snappyHexMesh does not run. I get:

Marked for refinement due to refinement shells: 3353488 cells

Something similar happens also when I try to extrudeMesh. If I have a small number of faces to extrude then it is fine. As soon as the number of faces to extrude raises to a 3 or 4 millions then the process is killed.
Do you have any idea why this happens?
