Hi,
I am a student completing a research project which involves doing FSI simulations in OpenFOAM. I have used Ansys student workbench to create a mesh of sufficient quality and with the features I require. But I am not sure how to move my mesh from Ansys to OpenFOAM. Currently the mesh for both fluid and solid domain are in the same component in Ansys as I wanted to make sure that the mesh at the fluid-solid interface matched up. Does anybody know the best way to prepare a mesh to move it to OpenFOAM from Ansys and if I need to separate the fluid and solid meshes? Also if it helps I am doing a fully coupled 2 way partitioned FSI simulation on OpenFOAM. Thanks in advance for your help Merlin |
