Hello everyone,
I couldn't find any compelling and easy step by step explanation for my issue. I have imported .msh mesh into OpenFoam using fluent3DMeshToFoam. Everything went fine but I have an unwanted wall boundary condition inside my domain which I want to delete or make it so it is 'invisible' for the flow. In Fluent I would just change the boundary type from 'wall' to 'internal' but I can't figure out how to deal with this problem in OpenFoam. Help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance. |

Hi!
If it is a baffle so the faces are sharing the same points, you can use the mergeOrSplitBaffles (https://develop.openfoam.com/Develop...litBafflesDict) utility, if not, you can try the stitchMesh (https://develop.openfoam.com/Develop...stitchMeshDict) utility which will "stitch" the two side and your internal wall will "wanish". You can find some examples for them in the tutorials. |
