Greetings everyone..!!
I am relatively new at using OpenFOAM and I have a doubt regarding generation of shape. How do I create a cylinder of given radius and length using blockMesh?? I also want to perform the following operations: (a) Locate a point of inlet at the geometrical center of one end of cylinder (b) Locate outlet at a point on the other end of cylinder with a slope of 1/800 from inlet (c) Generate a small patch at the top of cylinder (d)Provide probes along the cylinder wall Awaiting your Reply. Thanks and Regards Hareesh. |

I am also learning blockMesh so I cannot really help you with your problem, but if you concede using blockMesh to GMSH then doing a cylinder is much more easier and you can import it to OF via 'gmshToFoam'.
