Hey foamers,
i having not so much experience in OpfenFoam, so i hope you could help me. i use Openfoam v5 and will simulate a periodic swinging mesh with dynamicInkJetFvMesh. But when i start a simulation, the mesh doesn't move. My question is did i need an extra file like toposet oder createbaffles or should be adjested my boundarie conditions false? Thanks in advance! best regards hannes15 |

Hi Hannes,
You only have to define the dynamicMeshDict in the constant folder. dynamicInkJetFvMesh is not using a solver to calculate the displacement but rather an explicit function. Therefore, you don't have to define a pointDisplacement or pointMotionUx boundary file. Take a look at the attached minimal working example (OF 4.x). cheers Fynn |
