Dear all,
For my first conjugate heat transfer problem I have made two Fluent meshes and imported these succesfully and merged these (ran checkMesh and it says ok apart from some non-orthogonal faces). Then I have used topoSet to define 2 cellZonesSets the 'pin' part and the 'topAir' part, which are an aluminium cylindrical pin and the fluid flowing around it. The problem is that when I run 'splitMeshRegions -cellZones -overwrite' it creates 5 regions instead of 2. Does anybody know why it is doing this? Regards, Gregor SOLVED: I ran splitMeshRegions -cellZonesOnly, that gave 2 regions of equal amount of cells as from the topoSet function Last edited by GregorAlan; February 3, 2016 at 08:36. |
