Hi,
I hope its just as simple as by me... change from "symmetry plane" to "symmetry" regards Alex

Hi alexB,
I work on the tutorial WigleyHull also, I have same problem with Ron and see your comment above I change from "symmetry plane" to "symmetry". It works! But continue, when I type snappyHexMesh and view paraFoam it warns: --> FOAM FATAL IO ERROR: inconsistent patch and patchField types for patch type symmetry and patchField type symmetryPlane and I change also "symmetry plane" to "symmetry". It works! But the lastone, when I type LTSInterFoam it error: --> FOAM FATAL IO ERROR: Unknown patchField type buoyantPressure for patch type patch. Could you tell me how to solve this? And what happen when I change "symmetry plane" to "symmetry"? |

Hi,
I assume that you took the tutorial from one version of OF and are using it on another. If I remember correctly, from OF2.3, buoyantPressure has been replaced by fixedFluxPressure. Managed to find one that corroborates this statement: http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...tml#post478508 Hope this helps. Cheers, Antimony |
