Hi Foamers,
I have been trying to use toposet in order to create a set of cells that are both contained within a bounding box (boxToCell) and under a specified size. Is there such a method?
Many thanks for your help!

Quick update on the above:

I have managed to get around that problem by using a different approach in toposetdict (knowing the topology of the existing refinement levels in my domain).

1. action new
source boxtocell

2. action invert

3. action subset
source boxtocell

I use this approach to refine evenly the free surface area (in combination with refinemesh) across a domain in the normal direction.

Hoping it might be of some use to someone!

Hi jule,
I also simulate ships. I am currently having the problem of refining the free surface. How do you select cells under a certain size? Because I just want to refine those large cells in z direction. Without selecting those cells, refineMesh utility will refine all the cells selected so these cells near the ship will also be refined, which is unnecessary and cause mesh quality problem there.

I know it's an old post but i still look forward for your reply. Thanks.
