hey,
I'm wholy new to CFD-software and I'm trying to simulate a Rheometerflow (Plate/Plate) in 2D with OpenFOAM. I tried to use wedge-description for my problem, but blockMesh gives me some Errors, e.g. "face 0 in patch 0 does not have neighbour cell face: 4(3 2 4 3)" the blockMeshDict is appended. can you help me? thanks! |

Hi
first of all you might consider to provide a valid blockMesh file which is readable by a common text editor. second the error message is self explaining: Code:
face 0 in patch 0 does not have neighbour cell face: 4(3 2 4 3)" which is usually due to bad definition of the face (numbering not correct) So check whether the numbers are in the correct order or if the belong to the right face. To get a better insight typ: paraFoam -block and see your mesh in paraview and check it regards |
