Hello everyone,
I want to know the performance differences among OpenFOAM on native Linux, WSL, and native Windows. How much these installations can affect the running time? Also, can the native Windows version change the solvers' code and use gnu plot or convergence plot out of the box? |

In my experience, not much. I run linux in Windows and I dont need to deal anymore with dual booting and so on. But it is up to you. Also, it helps if you have a good processor.

Native Windows : Cross-compiled Windows binaries (mingw). Provides a quick means of using OpenFOAM on windows, but does not currently include an OpenFOAM development environment (ie, cannot compile code, no dynamic code) OpenFoam Under Windows is a Poor Solution |
