I just downloaded OpenFoam v1906 for Windows 10. I've installed it successfully on my WLS. I can run tutorials and other simple cases. What I would really like to do is to be able to modify the source code, add boundary condition and so on. Is this possible using WSL and of OpenFoam v1906 for Windows 10 ? The first problem that I've encountered is that rootfs foleder , where is built OpenFOAM, is not accessible via WSL (permission denied).
Please give me an help to manage to access and modify the source code.
thanks in advance

Hi, Giovanni,
I don't really know the answer to your question. But I also once installed OpenFOAM on Windows 10 through WSL, but dealing with text files was not straightforward, so I switched to Ubuntu 18.04. Anything is much more convenient in it.
Best regards,

Giovanni,
I would suggest to learn how to install dualboot Ubuntu alongside yours already installed windows.
Apart from that you will have to learn a lot yourself (user guides, tutorials, internet, etc.).
Good luck,
Best regards,
