Hello everyone,
I installed OpenFOAM on Windows and it was working fine, but now, I don't have access to the adimin folder anymore. Since it's the folder shared with the workingDir, I can't access my simulation files.
Is there anyway I could change the folder shared with the workingDir? (For exemple, c:\Users\Myname = workingDir)

Thanks in advance.

HI Thomes
I did not understand the issue exactly . Can you elaborate more ? . You copied tutorial in workingDir i.e inside workingDir say in folder tut which is same as C:\User\thomes\tut
, now you are saying that you cannot access the files in tut . You can provide right to particular user in Windows to have admin right which could solve the issue if i am right in my understanding

Let me try to explain better:
1. There is a shared folder between the container and Windows. So /.../ofuser/workingDir (something like that) is equal to C:/Users/admin on Windows ;
2. I don't have access to the admin folder, so it would be better to save my simulations in another folder;
3. So, I would like to share another folder with the container, i.e., I would like to set C:/Users/thomes to be the /.../ofuser/workingDir in the container.

Is it more clear?

Yes.. Thomes.. It is clear now . I will suggest following
i) Uninstall OpenFOAM and all component
ii) Provide admin right to user i.e Thomes
iii) Now user your login to install OpenFOAM . OpenFOAM installer use the login name
to map the area , so if you user admin acccount , it will map admin area.

I hope , it helps,
