Hello,

Following the instructions for installing OpenFOAM 2.3.1 Deb pack installation:
http://www.openfoam.org/download/ubuntu.php

At step 3 Install OpenFOAM (231 in the name refers to version 2.3.1):

sudo apt-get install openfoam231

I get the following installation problem:

Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
openfoam231 : Depends: libcgal-dev but it is not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

Any ideas how to resolve this installation issue?


Update - Followed the steps here to fix broken packages:

Installed OK after this.
