Hello Everyone! I am a new user of OpenFOAM and I have spent the whole day trying to find out how to get out of this buckle when updating from terminal:
When I type sudo apt-gte update, I get at the end of the run the following: Reading package lists... Done W: Duplicate sources.list entry http://www.openfoam.org/download/ubuntu/ precise/main amd64 Packages (/var/lib/apt/lists/www.openfoam.org_download_ubuntu_dists_precise_mai n_binary-amd64_Packages) W: Duplicate sources.list entry http://www.openfoam.org/download/ubuntu/ precise/main amd64 Packages (/var/lib/apt/lists/www.openfoam.org_download_ubuntu_dists_precise_mai n_binary-amd64_Packages) W: Duplicate sources.list entry http://www.openfoam.org/download/ubuntu/ precise/main i386 Packages (/var/lib/apt/lists/www.openfoam.org_download_ubuntu_dists_precise_mai n_binary-i386_Packages) W: Duplicate sources.list entry http://www.openfoam.org/download/ubuntu/ precise/main i386 Packages (/var/lib/apt/lists/www.openfoam.org_download_ubuntu_dists_precise_mai n_binary-i386_Packages) W: You may want to run apt-get update to correct these problems It's quite annoying because running the apt-get update is what I just did!! Please forgive me if this has been reported before...I couldn't find any thread for it! Any help will be extremely appreciated!!! I am using Ubuntu 12.04 Many thanks!! |

Many thanks for your reply... I ended up uninstalling the whole program and installing it again.... i know it's not the most sophisticated option, but it worked for me!
... there was something wrong with my universe repositories.. all fixed now! |
