Sounds like a stupid question but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to install this right away, nor can I remember how I did it that last time..

I am only trying to install Salome (not Salome MECA).

Can anyone please point me in the right direction?

Hi nvarma,

the documentation site is well maintained:
https://docs.salome-platform.org/latest/main/index.html

When you download the archive:
https://www.salome-platform.org/?page_id=15
it includes a very comprehensive README text file that you have to follow rigorously.

For old posts from the forum (which has been moved to https://discourse.salome-platform.org/) simply change "discourse" to "old" in the URL.

Hope this helps!

Thank you. The time I posted this, I was unable to access their documentation due to some server issue. I've since been able to install and use it. I was missing some dependencies and that was causing it to crash.

Thanks for your help
